IAWRT's parallel event at the NGO Comission on the Status of Women Forum is entitled Women making news in the Changing World of Work.
The IAWRT 2016 Regional meeting will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa from 26 to 28 October, 2016. The theme is The African Woman and The Media: The Prison of Portrayal.
IAWRT local chapters run activities such as gender media education, skills and support workshops and festivals promoting female media producers throughout the year.
